The rest rooms are just off the dining room, there's a bar in the corner, and kitchen staff are all visible across the way. Food is good, location is terrible, atmosphere is not special, and the only buzz about the place was when the Captain came in and sat down with a couple across the room.

I wanted to feel special that evening and didn't (other than how my husband made me feel). If you are not providing 'attention' for events in the Steakhouse, then stop asking on the reservation page. We went there for my 60th birthday dinner, and there was nothing said by staff (not a 'welcome, and Happy Birthday), not a special dessert (like we had on another ship a few years ago), nothing. When you book, they specifically ask if this meal is for a special event and then what is that event (birthday, anniversary, etc).

Don't waste your money on an event meal at the Pinnacle Steakhouse on the Splendor.
